Free DTF tool

DTF halftone generator,
print-ready in seconds.

Upload your artwork and the tool checks the border pixels to tell whether the background is black or white, removes it, then turns soft, semi-transparent edges and gradients into a clean dot halftone โ€” so your DTF print stays breathable and soft. Download a transparent PNG. Everything is processed in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

The why

Why halftone for DTF?

  1. Breathable, soft hand-feel

Dots instead of a solid sheet of ink and adhesive mean less film on the garment โ€” it flexes, breathes and feels lighter to wear.

  2. No hard box edges

Glows, shadows and faded edges can't print as "half-transparent" in DTF. Dots recreate the fade, so you don't get a visible rectangle around the design.

  3. Cleaner on dark shirts

Removing the black background and letting the shirt show through the dots keeps dark designs crisp, without a muddy grey patch.
